CHOOSE A REALISTIC AND ACHIEVABLE GOAL
To obtain a satisfactory IELTS Band Score, it is necessary to be realistic. If the goal is to reach a
certain level of English proficiency, success can only be achieved with much practice. It is important
to know what an IELTS score in any of the Sub-tests means before you set yourself a goal. An outline
of the Overall Band Scale levels is given below:

A clause which comes instead a noun.
It can be replaced with (something or somebody)
Noun and noun clause places:
1-Subject
2-Object of verb
3-Object of preposition
4- Subjective complement
Example:

Who:
Noun (human) + [who + finite verb].
Example:
Mr. Brown who came yesterday like to see you again.
Who: connector/ subject, Came: transitive verb
Whom:
Noun (human) + [whom + subject + finite verb]
Example:

Phrase: a meaningful combination of words.
Clause: a meaningful combination of words + subject + verb.
Clause:
1- Independent (meaningful by itself)
2- Dependent (needs another independent clause to be complete.)
Dependent clauses:
1- noun clauses
2- adjective clauses
3- adverbial clauses
